Boom: This all black collection was born from a school project in fact, it is based on a traditional Turkish fabric called şile bezi.


She thinks Turkiye is a little bit slow but in a good way in fashion design.
Carine Roitfeld , c.r.a.z.y , Pink Floyd- Shine on you crazy diamond are the instant figures that comes to her mind.

She adores Ricardo Tisci, Phoebe Philo. Rick Owens...

Boom: She as a fashion designer is very fond of social networks and uses the new media for business also.

On Wednesday (26 Mayıs) GALATAMODA Fashion Fest is starting as we all look forward to each year. Designers prepared new pieces special just for this event and I wore one of them, BEGÜM SALİHOĞLU first for you Styleboomers:))

This romantic nude dress above is flowing! There exists another version of the same dress covered with lace all over.

BEGÜM SALİHOĞLU's birght tones are wonderful! Green, blue and fuschia at their brightest tones.

The green dress above with its color and draped details were one of my favorites.

Another fave is this combination above. Soft pale green and fuschia. Drapes and metallic spikes !!


Modelling is hard work! Indeed!

BEGÜM SALİHOĞLU created a new beachwear line for GALATAMODA! I wore a blue strapless flower apliqued dress but pink was better.

BEGÜM SALİHOĞLU's showroom was very comfortable and chis. All those pieces you see hanged will be available during 26-30 May at Tepebasi/ISTANBUL: highest price tag will be 750TL.

Before collection, I'd like to tell a little about Karl's latest short movie REMEMBER NOW i; the movie longs for 17 minutes and under the influence of French nostalgia. It also influenced the whole cruise collection. Colette, Francois Hardy, Alain Delon and at the end Mick and Bianca Jagger all seen in the movie.

Chiffons printed with pastel florals, petit squares, tailed blazers and ultra mini shorts, 70s hippie chic with a luxurious revision, colorful tricots, wide hats, flowing suits, nets and sheer.

All tones of pink, yellow and rust are added to CHANEL'is famous black&white. And a few neons.

Well I loved the pieces one by one and for a cruise collection it is unexpectedly rich and free. And front row was as good as the collection, my oneand only Diane Kruger and boyfriend Joshua Jackso, Chanel Ambassador Vanessa Paradis, Legh Lezar were all there.

He is the most spoken, most phorographes, most popular name lately! Meet the new prince of shoes, NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD, and his original and independent, edgy and chherful, ready to fly designs!


I was collecting images of Kirkwood designs since the latest RODARTE collection and those lovely candle-heel shoes. Kirkwood also added another famous name ERDEM to his runway collections.


Of course a Central Saint Martins and Cordwainers graduate, Brit designer excites us since his frst collection presented in 2005, he took attention of CHLOE in first place.


Kirkwood gives much importance to handcrafting and decorative work, likes geometrical and structured forms with strong lines but also combines modernism with feminibe and classical touches. He always put form in front, that his pieces are like pieces of modern art!


When nearly all designers did something related to Alice's Adventures movie, may be the best and most Aliceable amongst was of Kirkwood's Alice shoes.


ERDEM, RODARTE, JEAN PIERRE BRAGANZA, SWAROVSKI are the names Kirkwood' make collections for.
