Most of the Oscars are given to their winners by now. Now let us look at the Oscar dresses on red carpet. If ARMANI and TISCI were not seen on the red carpet, it would be a very faded one.
Blue is the favorite color, following ivory and gold and still nudes(i'm sick of it by the way). There is almost no reds compared to last year, and a there are a few blacks. We surprisingly see a without VALENTINO red carpet(Mariah carey doesn't count with her less than ordinary look), I can not imagine the disappointment of Sinyor Garavani! VERSACE too seems un effective, these 2 Italian should have a cup of coffe together today!

And....GIVENCHY Couture has landed on the red carpet for the first time! Ricardo Tisci had already showed that he can do the best in couture too. The most magnificent and special jewellery was worn by Kate Winslet, a giant yellow diamonda necklace from TIFFANY & CO.

Let's begin with the whites...Amanda Seyfried and Jennifer Lopez were literally glowing like moon. They chose 2 dresses from the jaw dropping ARMANI PRIVE Spring 2010 collection. Lopez is one of my aces tonight. Merly Streep also chose a white, those shoes however didn't suit very well to her draped CHRIS MARCH dress., as we get used to it, Streep is just average.

Continue with neutral colors, cream, ivory, nude... Cameron Diaz must have heard how much I wanted to see this gown on red carpet when I reviewed OSCAR DE LA RENTA Fall 2010 collection.She is one of my best dressed with this swarowki and gold crystal embellished gown. Congratulations to Miley Cyrus with her choice of JENNY PACKHAM seçimiyle kutluyorum, suits great to her age and very elegant. She wants her pretty girl crown back from Taylor Swift I guess! Can anyone be unchic in a CHANEL Couture? But...with her Fall 2009 romantic CHANEL dress Diane Kruger didn't wow me at all, I used to her being the best of best always! Think she was exhausted:)

I will repeat exactly the sama for another chic and stylish lady, Sarah Jessica Parker; her silver embroidered satin CHANEL dress is so elegant, however again can not reach to what I expected from her. She also had a CHANEL tattoo on her wrist among millions of diamond bracelets. Front runner nominee Sandra Bullock has been very very nice on red carpets lately, we saw Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen on her, and tonight she chose a best dress guaranteed label: MARCHESA! Very chic.

Anna Kendrick chose an ELIE SAAB Spring 2010 dress, but can not give more than any other amazing nude dresses we see several times on the red carpet. There were a lot more wonderful pieces in that collection, which one of them is seen on Rachel McAdams below! Demi Moore wore an ATELIER VERSACE 2008 gown with draped bandage bodice and ruffled skirt.

And that's what we expect from red carpet, from Oscars! Such wowing, such gorgeous, such colour! This is couture. RICARDO TISCI's frst couture collection for GIVENCHY provided the best for this red carpet! And Zoe Saldana is perfect in the dress, flawless!

For years I'v been waiting for Charlize&Dior's return to red carpetY But unfortunately it would be better if she passed this one too! She chose this dress from DIOR COUTURE spring 2010 among gorgeous pieces. Yes dress is nice, color is pretty, but those rosette details on the chest makes one to stare directly there to the boobs, there seems no integrity at all. The runway version was much better with the color and the tail. Queen Latifah also stayed classical with her lilac satin dress.

Blues are champs! Rachel McAdams made me wait too long during premieres but it was worth it, this ELIE SAAB Couture Spring 2010 dress was my far favorite from the collection. ePowder pink, lilac, green combined with greyish blue...Glamorous.

Elizabeth Banks chose again a greyish blue ATELIER VERSACE, Maggi Gyllenhall in a DRIES VAN NOTEN with bright wonderful colors and print. Gabourey Sidibe is in MARCHESA.

Marisha Hartigay, Mariah Carey and thank god we're not seeing her legs M'onique too chose blues, Carey's was a VALENTINO but how? M'onique chose a TADASHI SHOJI.

Silver and greys are represented by Helen Mirren, Kate Winslet and Nicole Richie. Helen Mirren wore an amazing BADGLEY MISCHA and hence best among her equivalents. Kate Winslet wore a vintage YVES SAINT LAURENT and for me she looks to oldfashioned, but she knows how to glow up this dull gown; no not with swarowskis, but a giant yellow diamond from TIFFANY&CO.

First Diane Kruger, then Charlize Theron and finally Penelope!! My reasons to wait for the red carpet were all disappointing tonight. Yes chic yet not wowing, as I expect! Penelope Cruz wore a burgundy, too draped DONNA KARAN elbise seçmiş, where is te Penelope who wore one of the best red carpet dresses of all times with her choice last year? Zoe Kravizt is also very nicely dressed!! Vera Farmiga seems like a gşft package with her fuscha MARCHESA', couldn't decide if good or bad when I look at different photos of the dress.

As I mentioned, reds we couldn't see! Paula Patton and her baby bump is inside an orange CAROLINA HERRERA, after Amy Adams she is the second pregnant celebrity who chose the designer. Sigourney Weaver with her black belted, asymmetrical LANVIN gown is as expected from her, easy yet elagant.

Kristen Stewart honey, you see when someone washes and combs her hair she looks this beautiful! lately I was first looking at her hair than what she wears! Her iONIQUE L'HUILLIER dress is breathtaking; the bodice and skirt is very nice, I liked this dress a lot, it's my 5th amongst best dressed. Rising star Carey Mulligan is rising at all means, both with her acting and dressing. She is in PARAD, again, the embellished bodice and the asymmetrical hemline is very beautiful, but there is something weird I couldn't figure out about the skirt. Oh and thpose gorgeous earrings we saw a hundred times in the video! Tina Fey who entered all worst dressed lists in Golden Globes and had heartbreak is very beautiful this time with her MICHEAL KORS ensemble.

Update: Sandra Bullock hugged her Oscar!! But most of all I am very glad that Jeff Bridges' won the best actor, I love you "el duderino" :))
