Before collection, I'd like to tell a little about Karl's latest short movie REMEMBER NOW i; the movie longs for 17 minutes and under the influence of French nostalgia. It also influenced the whole cruise collection. Colette, Francois Hardy, Alain Delon and at the end Mick and Bianca Jagger all seen in the movie.
The collection was French, deep French! Soft, chic, comfortable, rarely masculine and tough, and very very Brigitte Bardot of AND GOD CREATED WOMAN.
Chiffons printed with pastel florals, petit squares, tailed blazers and ultra mini shorts, 70s hippie chic with a luxurious revision, colorful tricots, wide hats, flowing suits, nets and sheer.
All tones of pink, yellow and rust are added to CHANEL'is famous black&white. And a few neons.
Well I loved the pieces one by one and for a cruise collection it is unexpectedly rich and free. And front row was as good as the collection, my oneand only Diane Kruger and boyfriend Joshua Jackso, Chanel Ambassador Vanessa Paradis, Legh Lezar were all there.
